Privacy Policy

When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (or use a sign-in provider you choose). If you add them, we also store profile details such as an artist or band name, a photo, and a short bio.

When you use SongSlay you upload or enter material for review: audio recordings, lyrics, images, and the creative details you choose along the way — genre, purpose, vocal setup, contributors, characters, and visual references. We store this so we can analyze your song, generate your reports and artwork, and bring everything back to you.

Your uploads are processed to produce the results you asked for: the SlayScore, reports, scores, recommendations, and generated images. These results belong to you and are kept so you can track your song's progress over time.

We keep basic account records — your sign-in information, membership status, and the credits on your account — so the app works correctly. Purchases happen securely inside the SongSlay app; your full card number is handled by the payment provider at checkout and is not stored by SongSlay. We keep receipts and subscription status so we can apply your credits, honor your plan, and answer billing questions.

We use your information only to provide and operate the SongSlay features you use: running analyses, generating reports and images, storing and returning your work, providing support, keeping accounts secure, and maintaining the service. We do not use your music or your personal information to advertise, and we do not sell it.

SongSlay relies on a small number of service providers to run — hosting, storage, the analysis technology that listens to your song, the technology that generates images, and payment processing. These providers process information only on our behalf, only to deliver the service, and under obligations that keep it confidential. SongSlay does not sell or give your work to third parties.

We do not sell your lyrics or recordings, give them away, or submit them anywhere. We do not enter your songs into contests, pitch them to labels or playlists, or post them publicly. Your material stays inside SongSlay unless you choose to share it yourself.

You control who can hear your songs. Every song carries its own playback setting: private, a 60-second preview, or the full song. Features like public song pages, Discover listings, and SongSlay Certified happen only when you deliberately choose to share or publish, and you can change or remove that at any time.

Your account and uploads are protected with encryption in transit and access limited to what is needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but SongSlay is built so your private work stays private, and only you can hear what you have not chosen to share.

You can edit or remove your songs and their sharing settings at any time, and you can delete your whole account from within the app. Deleting your account removes your public presence immediately; your data is then deleted after a short private hold window (currently six months) that exists so an account can be recovered if the deletion was accidental or a paid run still needs to finish.

SongSlay is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to use it. If you are 13 to 15, a parent or guardian must confirm your account. Members under 18 cannot hear songs marked explicit. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of SongSlay after a change means you accept the updated policy.
