THE HOUSE RULES

You must be at least 13 years old to use SongSlay. If you are 13–15, a parent or legal guardian must approve your account. Users under 18 cannot access songs marked explicit.

You may only upload music you own or have the rights to. Your songs, lyrics, and recordings remain yours — SongSlay does not sell, share, or submit them to anyone.

Keep it clean and respectful. Across profiles, comments, collaboration posts, and shared songs:

• No hate, harassment, threats, or personal attacks.
• No sexually explicit text, spam, scams, or advertising outside collaboration posts.
• No impersonation, and no claiming credit for work that is not yours.
• Mark songs with explicit lyrics as explicit. Mark your music honestly as human, AI, or hybrid.
• No uploading music you do not have the rights to.

Band workspaces are managed by their band managers — not by SongSlay. Band managers control their own roster: they invite members, set roles (member or viewer), and can revoke or remove a member at any time. SongSlay does not mediate disputes between band members, manage individual band members, or referee decisions a band manager makes about their own workspace.

That said, SongSlay reserves the right to suspend or revoke any band workspace — or any individual user — that violates these terms or community guidelines, misuses shared credits, or engages in fraud, abuse, or illegal activity.

Shared plan credits belong to the paying account. SongSlay does not split, refund, or transfer credits between band members when someone leaves or is removed.

Seats. A band workspace includes three seats — the manager plus two bandmates. Any additional member who does not have their own SongSlay plan takes a paid seat at $10 per month, charged to the band manager's account. A member who has their own active SongSlay plan joins free, spends their own Slays, and never counts against the band's seats. Payment processing is off during the alpha, so seat fees are shown but not charged.

Leaving or being removed. Removing a member ends their access to that band workspace only; it never affects their own SongSlay account, and a manager can invite them back at any time. Songs stay with the account that uploaded them — a departing member keeps their own uploads, scores, and reports in their personal vault and simply loses the shared band view, and songs the manager uploaded remain with the manager. Nothing a member uploads becomes the property of the band manager. Shared band results that combine several members' work (band assessments, rehearsal boards) stay in the workspace.

Reviewers are independent professionals, not SongSlay employees. Reviewers may return a review to the queue if they cannot complete it, and you may withdraw a request before delivery. You are not charged for a Human Second Opinion until the review is completed and submitted.

All sales are final — there are no refunds on subscriptions, credit packs, completed analyses, Human Second Opinions, or image regenerations. If a paid run fails and produces nothing, your credit is restored automatically. See the Payments and refunds section for full details.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or revoke access — for any user or reviewer — that violates these terms, with or without warning depending on severity. Repeated or serious violations (copyright abuse, harassment, fraud) result in permanent removal. You can report problems through the flag tools in the app.

We may update these terms as SongSlay grows. If changes are significant, we will note them in the app. Continuing to use SongSlay after an update means you accept the new terms.
